Location:

• Salty HQ, Cowes (A short walk from transport links)

Duration:

• 5 Days

Minimum Sea Time:

• Commercially Endorsed Yachtmaster Offshore including the PPR Course & RYA Membership

Certification Required:

• First aid certificate

• RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate of Competence, commercially endorsed 

• Online pre-course knowledge check

• 5 Days of quality tuition including 1 day moderation.

• Pre course knowledge check (online course prior to attending the 5 day course).

• A quality course teaching you how to teach, whilst assessing your own skills.

Qualified to teach:

• Can instruct RYA practical courses up to the level of Day Skipper

Not Included:

• Dinner when ashore

• Clothing - Wet weather gear can be hired for £30 for the week 

• Travel 

• Personal Insurance

• Berthing fees when away from home berth

Certificate valid for: 

• Five years, after which candidates will need to attend a RYA Cruising Instructor revalidation. Revalidation is carried out over one day on the water.
